Meandering Brook

As the brook meanders down from the pitch pine woodland, across a salt marsh towards its destination of a tidal pool of Cape Cod Bay, the sun is beginning to set and the sky is fading to pale lavender, pink and orange on the horizon. The last daylight bounces back from the bordering wetland. This original painting by M. Howard, "Meandering Wetlands Brook", is painted in acrylic on a 11 x 14 inch acid-free, linen, canvas panel.
