Afternoon Storm

On hot summer afternoons, pop-up thunder storms often develop over the Cape Cod.  They are usually small, brief, weak storms that grow and bring thunder, lightning, and heavy rain  with them and then die within an hour or so.  These storms can be very intense, yet beautiful to experience and observe.  This 12 x 12 inch, original acrylic painting by M.
